As the primary transactional banker, Jeff will have closed over $500MM in transactions over the last three years, primarily in health care, energy and technology, and typically ranging in size from $5MM to $30MM, though AGRA is co-advising on several transactions in the $200M to $500M+ range for a specific energy client. AGRA performs the entire range of corporate finance advisory services, including buy and sell side M&A, private placements, IPO’s, follow-on and secondary offerings and fairness opinions.
Jeff began his career in corporate finance as a Financial Analyst and Associate in Smith Barney’s M&A Group, primary team member on transactions ranging from a $20MM leveraged buyout of an educational company, to an $80MM hostile defence of a retail fabric store chain to multiple $100M+ private M&A transactions in the health care, insurance and manufacturing industries. Jeff has also worked in Senior Management roles with the Washington Post Companies multi-billion dollar education subsidiary, Kaplan Educational.
Jeff graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 1989, and also holds a Masters from UCLA. Originally form the East Coast, Jeff now lives with his wife and infant son in Calabasas, CA.
